Dave and I accomplished the second of our two weekend goals - getting rid of the dubious distinction of being the only house on the street without Christmas lights.

We're taking care of ours today. Kissing ball is up. Now Dad will do some lights.
It's a ball of greens and ornaments. I don't know why they call it a kissing ball, because there is no mistletoe in it. We've been hanging those instead of wreathe for the past few years. Easier.
Good point. Though, oddly, I know exactly where my Christmas decorations are. Can't tell you where the forks, knives and spoons are, but I know where the ornaments are. Too bad you can't eat with ornaments.

What is a kissing ball?

I found our Christmas lights yesterday. Does that count for anything?
Finding the lights is half the battle, even when you haven't just moved!

Kissing ball sounds dangerous to me. We better watch out when we get there. LOL
