Look! Snow! ok it only lasted for 5 minutes but at least I caught it on film as proof that it really is winter.
Oh by the way, Happy Birthday MOM!! :)

Thank you, Nita. We got some snowflakes just as several bluebirds landed on our lamp post to eat the holly berries there. Now what could be nicer than that, a birthday gift from our bluebirds?
It snow here for about an hour this morning and really boosted up my spirits for winter-we need a good freeze to get rid of germs going around school. Yes, was three pages of absentes of kids.

I am in the mood for a snow day. Shoveling the driveway and then coming in for hot chocolate and a fire in the fireplace..
Unfortunately the weather channel is not holding out much hope for that any time soon.
