The electrical is done. The fixture I bought from the Home Depot was defective and I have to return it, but other than that, the lighting looks great. The granite is scheduled to be installed on Wednesday. Then we'll have running water and be back in business!

It's my wine glass. You'll notice also that I put some bottles of wine in the wine rack already. We have no countertop but we have wine in the wine rack. You know where my priorities lie.
Wine HAS to be a priority for any home renovation project--it's the only way to maintain sanity.
So are the granite guys there today? Hope so!
Yes, the just left. The granite looks beautiful but they scratched up our new floor when they moved the refrigerator! So we are not happy about that. We have to move the fridge back in place to fully see the extent of the damage. The company said to take pictures and give them the estimate and they'd pay for the repairs.
Same thing happened to us! VERY annoying! I'm glad you like the granite, though. Can't wait to see pics!
