They got the wall opened up, put a new doorway into the pantry, and opened up the entry into the family room from the foyer. Hopefully today Joe will finish sheetrocking the walls.

You know what impresses me most about your home reno projects? That the contractors you hire are so neat! It looks like they get a cleaning crew in at the end of the day before they leave.
The plumber moved the pipe from the basement. He had to take down some of the ceiling tiles in the basement to get to it, but he was able to move it over several feet so that it now runs up through the remaining section of full-height wall. No one will be the wiser.
